I wanted to take the time to write this thorough review because I think that this woman deserves all the credit in the world. I had a flood insurance claim that went to appraisal court so I had to hire a second independent appraiser. I came upon ML Appraisals and decided to give them a call. Michelle called me back and said she would handle my claim. First Impression: Laid back woman, told me not to worry that she would help me get through the process. I am not going to lie I was worried that she might not know what the heck she was doing. I was worried because I had extensive damage to my property and the insurance had been giving me the run-around. thought she might not really know what it would really take construction/remodel appraisal estimates. I decided to give her a chance and work with her since they always tell you to never judge a book by its cover and I am glad I stuck to that. Michelle was incredibly during the whole process! She worked numerous hours and got all the required documentation so that we could be prepared going into the appraisal hearing. She gathered additional evidence to support her claims, used construction law to express her concerns. Did not let the "Scam Artists" over at the Insurance Agency intimidate her. She is extremely knowledgeable and has the customers best interest at heart. Through her hard work I was able to get favorable results that otherwise would have not been provided because the insurance was denying most of my claim. I am so glad that I worked with Michelle.
