Michelle Elko has proudly been a native Houstonian for over a decade now. She graduated from college with an associate’s degree in science earning her a nursing degree in 2000 as an LVN. After just 7 years, she was ready for a change.

 With the never-ending hurricanes, floods, hailstorms, and pipe busts, there’s no shortage of property damage. Houston is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States, which also produces a plethora of construction jobs. She immediately fell in love with the work. The science of it intrigued her, physical labor was a wonderful workout, and traveling was an adventure of its own. Being a roofer for Michelle has come as natural as being a Pisces.

 With such a diverse background, she has taken her knowledge and experience into starting her own independent business, M.L. Appraisals, where she fights for the property owner to get the maximum amount of money needed in what's known as the Appraisal Process. Experience learned and shared is what drives her. Her seeming endless energy and passion for life are unmistakable.
